In and on the building should be processed what embodies the core product of the Ziegler Group - wood. From 18-meter-long wooden logs on the exterior facade to the interior. The requirement for the architects ("Brückner und Brückner") was to implement everything that could be realized with wood. This was implemented to such an extent that only the basement and stairwells are made of concrete. Here, the formwork for the exposed concrete walls was created from our own unplaned wooden boards, so that the wood structure can be seen in the surface of the concrete. Now, after a year of construction, the new administration building has been occupied by the departments of the main site. In addition to offices, specially designed meeting rooms and a spectacular viewing platform of the sawmill, the new building also features a canteen for the employees. This is filled with life by the "Holzfellas".
